I do the install of the extension, everything works fine if i use the extension without fe_users, if i tell the extension to work with fe_users, it will not not work, im not able to add a new staff-info, because i cannot select fe_users. Has someone got an idea?

Hi Markus,

I would suspect the problem is that you need to set the Startingpoint in the Flexform for the Staff Directory. This should point to your global "Storage Folder" where the fe_users are stored. Otherwise, without this info, it has no way of automagically figuring this out.

i tried this, i tried to create new "Info" in the same Folder as my fe_user are located. but it doesnt work. Is there a way to give the pid of the storagefolder to Staff Directory?

If you have your "Staff Directory Info" records in one place, and your fe_user in a "Storage Folder", that can work. You can specify both folders in StartingPoint. If you put them both in the main Storage Folder, that should work too.

To give the pid of the Storage Folder to Staff Directory, you edit the Flexform for the Staff Directory and on the Main tab, select Startingpoint and choose the folder there. You can choose multiple folders too.

You can also specify the storage pid list in TypoScript -- in the Setup of the extension template -- by adding plugin.tx_wecstaffdirectory_pi1.pid_list = 123, where 123 is the pid# of the storage folder. For multiple, you use comma -- 123,234,345

If you are still stuck, let me know where the Staff Directory Info records are?

Sorry for answering late, i've been on a holiday-trip for 2 weeks, now im back. I understand everything you write, but it doesnt work. i have a folder fe_user ( 488 ) with my fe_users and fe_usergroups. and i have a folder where i want to store the staff information ( 489 ) . in my storage for the fe_users i got several users (15), but when i open the form, to add fe_users to wecstaff the selection list is empty, i cannot select any user. i got no more ideas.

I understand your setup. Do you have the Startingpoint in the Staff Directory Flexform (under Main tab), pointing to both 488 and 489 pages? If not, then that is what you need to do.

If you are still stuck, if I can look at a backend login to your site, I can find whatever problem there is.
