How do I get the Employment Start Date to show up on the page? I have the box checked on the ones I have a Start Date for.

Thank you

Hi Barbi,

You need to go to the Flexform plugin for the Staff Directory, and go to the Fields tab. Then choose the Start Date for Staff List section and/or the Staff Page section.

Then the Start date will appear in the List and/or Single view.

You can also choose other fields here too to display. If you see no other fields listed, then the plugin uses the default fields.

Hello Dave,

iīve set up everything as you suggest (and itīs described in the manual), but the Start Date value is not shown in my typo3 frontend (not in list or single/detail view). Even so the extention seems to notice the value, because if i choose to sort the list by START DATE, the sorting is properly...

My setup is:
Typo3 4.2.1 and the staff directory ext Version 1.2.3, german language

What iīve tried so far:
First iīve tried the different list-types... But without success.
Then iīve tried to modify the wecstaffdirectory.tmpl because i noticed there is no "SHOW_START_DATE" section. But it not changed anything.

Could it be a problem that i use german language? Iīve also noticed, that the "date selector" (when i edit a staff member record) donīt let me choose a date. Clicking on it donīt give any reaction (in other dialogs i.e. "Start/Stop"-value for pages, the date selector works properly).

Do you have any ideas? Thank you for your help!

Barbi,

Choose page at the left. Choose the page where the staff plugin is located in the page tree. Click on the staff content element at the right. Now, the tabbed forms you see at the right are the flexforms for this plugin.

Hello,

I investigated this last week and found that the Start Date cannot be added, and so this is indeed a problem. The name in the database and the code was different -- start_date vs. start_day and so never resolved and could not be printed.

I have made the fix and hope to have a new Staff Directory released later this week.
