Okay. I thought I had set up everything (e-mail, etc.)....but when I try to respond to one of my servant opportunities by submitting the form-mail, the page just dies...it goes to white...no e-mail generated...nada. Other than in the flex form, where must I peek and tweek?

(Oh...for the sake of testing I decided to go with the masses and use IE. Shhh...don't tell me...I don't want to know.)

Hi Rev. Michael,

Just looking at this code for the extension, I see there was an accidental "exit(1)" in the code because there was an error. It should have printed out an error message but the exit(1) causes the whole program to stop.

It seems that you don't have the Contact Person(s) setup...actual users associated with the ministry opportunity. It may be confusing that the Contact Information field is an extra field -- there is no way for the code to read out an email from that. The Contact field works.... To setup contacts, you have to create Website Users who are then linked in and chosen. The Website Users need to have the Ministry Contact field set so they will show up.

I see also an addition to the Servant Connector extension is that if you do not have the "Contact" person selected, but just info, you can send an email to the notify email (set in the Flexform of the extension under Administrator tab). Otherwise, there is no way to send an email if it is not known.

Hope that is helpful. I will be making an update to the extension next week and this will be fixed. Thanks for sharing this problem. Let me know of any other problems or suggestions you have.

I had the notify e-mail set up...but once I set up FE users as Ministry Contacts, things started working. (FYI...plain English spelling of where to do this: Storage Folder>Website Users. Be sure to check the box for Ministry Contact on the user form.)

Thanks, Dave.
