Subject: Two different ministry lists?
Hello!
I try to set up the wec servant matcher for a church's site with two different locations. For each location there should be a "Find by Ministry" list. So far no problem, but... Not all the ministries are available in both locations. In one location's list I would like to display only those ministries that are available for that location. Since the user groups are used as ministries I can not set up two different user group lists.
Is it possible to hide those ministries in the "Find By Ministries" list that do (currently) not have ministry oportunities assigned to? So I could set up two different ministry opportunity lists. Or does anyone have a better idea???
Thanks a lot for your help.

Hi Matthias,

Currently, how the Servant Matcher works is that it grabs all Ministries no matter where they are at. Everything else was setup to support multiple instances except this. This is an oversight but it was based on the assumption that "usergroups" were in the main Storage folder.

I can look at doing this in the next 2 weeks. It should be fairly easy. What you will have to do though is have three folders. One for common ministries, one for servant matcher #1 and one for servant matcher #2. You can add multiple storage folders to each instance within the Flexform. Will this work for you?

Hi Dave,

this would be a good solution. Would be really great if you could do that.
I was thinking of another solution which could solve my problem too and which is probably even easier (but it is your thing to decide): As I understand the PHP code of the frontend plugin the SQL query that grabs the ministries could be modified so that only those ministries are grabbed that offer ministry opportunities. This would be a solution too.

In any case thank you very much for your help.

Hi Matthias,

I will look into that solution to see if it would be easier or not. I know it shows only skills that are used. If you have time to look at code and mySQL calls, go for it. I might not get to it till later next week.
