Subject: Limit # of Submissions by various criteria?
Is there any way to limit the number of submissions that can be submitted? For example, if we want people to sign up for various times to work an event or take shifts for a prayer vigil, etc. - is it possible to have a certain number sign up for a block of time and then hide that time from future submissions?

If not, is there an extension that would give something similar to this capability? This would be really useful to limit people signing up, yet still organize them semi-appropriately (even if on a first-come basis).

Thanks for any ideas you may have on how to do this short of just letting people post and then organizing later.

Peter,

The servant matcher does not currently have any capability like this. A way to handle this now would be for someone to watch the people register for positions and then manually hide the position when you have plenty of people. It is pretty easy to hide a position via the frontend admin interface.

Just so you know, we have plans to create event registration via the Calendar Base extension and that will probably help address this.

In Him,
Mark
