Subject: Resource not on page
I have been uploading PDF files into Sermon Mang. Ext. No problems there. I've uploaded a FLV file thanks to the Drag & Drop Upload Extension. However, this resource doesn't appear on the Sermon page like the PDF files do. When the sermon title (Blessed are Those who Hunger...) is clicked on for the FLV file a new page opens and the FLV file is listed under resources there. What I'm not figuring out is why the PDF files appear on the main sermon page and the FLV file doesn't.

Hi John. :-)

Just for clarification, what resource type are you selecting when uploading FLV files? It's looking as though you're selecting "Download File". Is that correct?

I'll wait until I hear back for any detailed analysis, but I'm thinking you might want to modify your HTML template for TEMPLATE_LIST_VERBOSE section to include the following: "
###RESOURCE_CONTENT###
". More accurately, you'll want to create (not modify) your own template and define the above using pi1/wecsermons.tmpl as a guide.

At the moment, our LIST views are only showing 3 resource types out of the box (default, pdf and mp3), even on the VERBOSE setting. That behavior is about to change in the 0.10.1 release where all out-of-the-box resource types will be listed in the VERBOSE layout.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Matt

Matt,

I'm not selecting any type of resource when I upload the FLV file. I'm simply dragging & dropping my file into the "Drag & Drop Upload Extension" and letting it do the work.

I'm taking this one step at a time. Evidently I want the sermons to play using the Flash Player Extension, but I want to get the uploading and resource accessing figured out first.

I'm not sure why I need to create a new template rather than modifying my present one. Though the way it sounds, I should simply wait for 1.10.1 to be available then worry about this.
