We are using the Prayer Connector for a Community Events board ... and the flexform gives the option of being able to enter a URL link...

I have noticed that no matter how you enter the URL (e.g. with or without the http:// )
it enters the http:// twice. ( http://http://www.sitename.com )

Is there some way to rectify this situation? At present I am just watching the postings and then I go in through the backend and edit the data record to remove the http://

Hi Mary Beth,

If you upgrade to the latest version -- v1.6.5 -- that should be fixed.

Make sure you get the latest TER2 Updates and then Import the latest Prayer Connector.

Dave,

We ARE using v. 1.6.5

Can you explain what TER2 is? is this some kind of newsletter that notifies us when updates are available?

I am also finding that the system is putting a quote mark " after the URL, when none is typed in... which renders the link unusable... I looked in the backend and tried to edit it out, but it is not visible there...

Hi Mary Beth,

Actually I posted a new update last week -- v1.6.6. When I say go to TER (or TER2), it means go to the Ext Manager in the Backend. The TER is TYPO3 Extension Repository (TER for short). You can go to Ext Manager -> Import Extensions and lookup WEC Connector directly or go to "Check For TER2 Updates". Note that you must get the latest from the TER by clicking on Retrieve/Update button or Get Version info button at either of these pages.

So if you update to the latest, I think this should fix your problems.
