Subject: Prayer Board Size
I use the Nature of Hope 3 Column Blue template on all of my pages. On the prayer page (found at http://www.newhope-umc.org/community/prayer/) the content box is spaced way down too far and is too wide for the main content column and runs into the right column.

Is there a way to keep it in the main column only or turn the right column white instead of gray? Is there a way to bring it up so that is not so far down to the bottom?

Thanks,
Gary

Gary,

The way to do that is either to set the entire site to a two column template using WEC Config or set only that page up to use a two column template. Here is a How-To on the second approach. When you do this, it will override the template setting in WEC Config just for this page. You need to delete the settings if you ever want this page to use the default template again.

Hi Gary,

Another alternative to this is to set the contentWidth for the Prayer Connector. You can do that by going to the Template->Constant Editor on the prayer page. Then choose the TX_WECCONNECTOR_PI1. You can then set the contentWidth constant to a hardcoded value like 600px. Try that and see if it works better with your template. It may have to be 500px...you have to try what value works for this template.

You can also set the plugin.tx_wecconnector_pi1.contentWidth = 600px in the extension template too if you feel more comfortable editing it directly.

Thank you very much Dave and Mark- it worked hardcoding the value. I couldn't get it with ContentWidth, but I changed Content Maximum Width to 575px and it did the trick! Thanks again.
