Subject: Moderating Prayer Posts
www.cokesburymargate.org

I am trying to figure out how to edit the page element so that I can recieve the requests and then login somewhere in the backend to approve or deny the prayer requests. I want to give this power to persons responsible for the prayer ministry. How do I know how to do it so I can show them?

P.S. the page element has been temporaily disabled until this is figured out.

IIRC, the moderation is done through the front-end. So in this case - a FE User Group for your Prayer Team. Make a distribution list address in the e-mail management side that sends e-mail to a group of people (your prayer team of the moderators) and let one of them log in to moderate the post and respond appropriately. I seem to remember the instructions for this being in the manual, but don't remember all of the details.

Hi Jason,

If you are using the Prayer Connector, you can set yourself as Moderator (or add additional people -- they have to be FE users), and all those people can then moderate the prayer requests. They can either approve or not them. They will each receive an email for each prayer request.

To setup the Moderator capability, you just go to the Prayer Connector Flexform. Under the tab for Administrator, you should be able to set that up. You can also set yourself up to receive ALL prayer requests...if you want. You can find additional details in the manual.
