Subject: How to Alternate Backgrounds of Prayer Entries
Hello community,

I have attempted and failed to use a new background color for alternating posts in connector template. Here is what I've done:

Summary: I tried to use same concept as tt_news to provide formatting for multiple "Entries"...and used a new style for the background of the 2nd entry.

### Default = ###
<!-- ###ENTRY### start-->
details of connector
<!-- ###ENTRY### end-->

### My feeble attempt = ###
<!-- ###ENTRY_1### start-->
details of connector
<!-- ###ENTRY_1### end-->

<!-- ###ENTRY_2### start-->
details of connector
<!-- ###ENTRY_2### end-->

I hope this makes sense. My purpose was to show that I tried. The manual didn't say anything about this option...so it might not even be possible. That information would be helpful.

Sincerely,

Leland

Hi Leland,

That is not currently possible with the WEC Connector extension that shipped with the latest Starter package. However, if you download the latest version, v1.60, from the TER (go to Ext Manager->Import Extensions and choose wec_connector), I have added this functionality. It was just published today and I took your suggestion (sorry for not reply to this post sooner, I just saw it 2 days ago).

However, I implemented the alternating color in a different way than tt_news so you don't need to edit the template. You just change a constant called alternatingEntry and add CSS code to change either the text and/or background color of the alternating entry. You can change the constants by going to Template->Constant Editor on the page where your Connector is.

Let me know if this suits your needs.
