Subject: Error Expected ";"
I am getting a strange error on my Prayer Request page http://www.montverdeumc.org/community/prayer/ that is causing some folks to not be able to view the page. When going to the page in IE7 or Firefox 2.0.0.1 on my PC, the page loads correctly, but on IE there is the little exclamation in the lower left of the browser. Doubleclicking on the error shows this message:

When viewing the HTML source, I don't see anything unusual, but then again, I'm nott too sure what to look for (I looked at Line 1, Char 75, and it looks OK in the HTML).

Any thoughts on what might be causing the error?

Thanks for your help!

John

Hi John,

I was able to track down that error. I was trying to do something just for IE6, but had a minor error in the syntax. It is in the CSS (found in ext_typoscript_setup.txt) under expression). If you want to fix it right away, you can edit this file. Otherwise, I will be updating a new extension within a week with this fix and a few minor updates.

Btw, the error should not effect IE6 users other than them seeing the error. I was able to post and use the connector in IE6.

Hi Dave,

Thanks for tracking this down! I looked at the file, but alas my syntax recognition is not what it should be. I deleted evrything for the content width except the width and margin parameters, and it seems to work without the error. I will await your next release to get the correct text in there on a permanent basis.

Thanks again!

Hi John,

I saw this post and just wanted to let you know a new version of the WEC Connector was released last week.
