Does anyone have an example of the Business and Candle templates for Prayer Connector please.

I thought I posted this yesterday but it musn't have saved in the forum.

I am totally lost on how to change the installed template.

Hi Steve,

In the Prayer Connector folder, there exists these example templates for the candle and business directory. What is best is if you copy them out, make changes, and then upload them to fileadmin, i.e., fileadmin/templates. Then point the extension to use these by

1) Going to where connector plugin is installed,

2) Editing (may have to create if it does not exist) the extension template by going to Template->Info/Modify Existing Template,

3) Adding this to the Constant field of extension template:
plugin.tx_wecconnector_pi1.templateFile = fileadmin/template/wecconnector-candle.tmpl
if you choose to rename it, then whatever name it is and the given location.

Then save the template.

4) Now, you can edit the template in fileadmin/template and then try it out. Every time you upload a new one, you may have to Clear your Frontend cache. (see sidebar at bottom)

If you have questions about actually modifying the template itself, let me know what things you want to do. Change images / colors / layout?

I'm sorry I was a while getting back to you, I was away for a few days.

I just looked in the connector ext. and the only template there is the typo3conf/ext/wec_connector/pi1/wecconnector.tmpl

it is the latest version from the extension manager.

Just can't locate it, am I missing something.

Check this path: (under res instead of pi1)
...typo3conf/ext/wec_connector/res/wecconnector-candle.tmpl

Checked again even though I sure it wasn't there. In fact there is no /res folder. There are only 2 folders /pi and /doc.

I checked at Typo3 and it is the latest version. I even stepped back a version but no change.

Is there a later version elsewhere?

SOLVED!

Grrr!!! I feel like such a fool.

I was taking the template from the Typo3 ext library. I looked in another installation i have and the connector was pre installed. They are different. One has the files needed the other doesn't.
