Subject: virtual room
Google has a new service called Lively. You can use it to create a 3D room or rooms. It can even be furnished with tables, chair, and plants. The "room" can be embedded on any web page. I'm thinking this might be good for various meetings, small groups, or just to chat. It could make things seem more personable than a simple text chat. The page does seem to load slowly, but this might be affected by the complexity of the given room. You will also have to set up a Lively account, but it's fairly quick. The site is: www.lively.com

Nice find Jason

Too bad most of the WEC guys are on Macs. Hope Google will make that work eventually...

Here is an interesting review...and if you don't have time to download, etc, may be worth looking at:

It seems Google has a ways to go with it. But hopefully they will work out the issues and also make a Mac version!
