Hi

How can I set the language of the ‘Written direction’?

I have at site in Danish, and the browser is set to Danish, but the written direction are shown I English – How can I set them to been displayed in Danish?

I also have a related problem: I have translated the balloon text ‘Directions: To here - From here‘ to Danish in the ‘locallang_db.xml’ using ‘ll-XML translation’, But sometimes the text is diplayed in English and sometimes is it displayed in Danish – I have cleared the cache – what am I missing?



The site use:

TYPO3 ver. 4.2.0
WEC map ver. 2.2.1

IMPORTANT: YOUR WEBSITE IS UNSECURE!!!

Please update to the recent Version of TYPO3 which is 4.2.6 All lower TYPO3 Versions are unsecure. There was already months ago a big ALARM and Security Bulletin that Your localconf file can be hacked and people can gain access to your database and typo3 installation. You really should update immediately!

In Germany the Websites of Schalke04 and the Minister of Internal Affairs have been hacked because of this issue too.

Does it still happen if you are not logged into the backend?

You are right - there is a deference if I am logged into the backend or not:

When I am logged in:
- The 'Balloon text' (Directions: To here - From here) is displayed in English
- The 'Driving direction' are displayed in English

When I am NOT logged in:
- The 'Balloon text' (Vis vej: Herfra - Hertil) is displayed in Danish
- The 'Driving direction' are still displayed in English

When I ask for 'Driving directions' form http://maps.google.com/, I get the directions in Danish.

Jogvan,

Do you have a link to the site? Before you do that though, make sure you are updated to the latest TYPO3 version, since anything prior to 4.2.6 is vulnerable.
WEC Map takes the language from the FE configuration, and defaults to English, so for some reason it doesn't seem to find that FE language config.
