Is it possible to get the video player modified to support resolutions greater than 320x240? With the growing proponderence of high speed broadband, it would be nice to be able to offer larger video sizes.

With the current player, 320x240 is the upper limit. If you try to make the player larger, it will just scale a 320x240 portion of the movie up to the larger size which is far from ideal.

Supporting higher resolution video is something we plan to look into for the next version, but right now we don't know much about the technical details of more dynamic sizing of the video or how much rework it will require.

No solid answers yet, but we do plan to explore that possibility.

Thanks - Here is an open source FLV player that will do higher resolutions and is used in another Typo3 extension (flvplayer) that might help: http://www.jeroenwijering.com/?item=Flash+Video+Player

A couple of other very helpful features would be the ability to have a playlist of videos to choose from and to be able to dispaly a static image when the player is loaded.
