I would like to use your flash player in my new site. I'd like to style it to fit in with our new site design. Any chance I can get the fla file for the flash player so that my designer can style it without rewriting the player? That would save our ministry some cash and I'm sure my designer some headache. Well, we were trying to avoid passing out the Flash source because we need to focus on TYPO3 support and not Flash source support, and this code is not that easy to understand. Also, we tried to set it up to be styled without changing the source. The background graphic is configurable, and the text messages are configurable. I believe the player itself is just what Flash provides. So, it is not clear to me what you would want to style. What kinds of changes were you planning to make? Maybe we could add them to the existing player. Also, if we give you the source, would you be willing to make the look more configurable and give it back to WEC for everyone to use?

This is how we want the player to look. . . (we may add a slider or button, but this is close) If there is a way to accomplish this with the current player I'm all for it.



I'm happy to ask our designer to add value as you have requested. Since I'm not familiar with Flash I really don't know what that entails. If you have any other suggestions I'm wide open. I do understand your reluctance. I'm pretty excited about what you are doing and want to become an asset in that quest, not a hinderance.
