I've had to resort to just setting our MP3 files as "Default" files because when I tried setting them up as MP3 files, we had an empty box show up instead of the player. I found out because one of our users couldn't see the player when he wanted to listen to a message.

It works out okay because most PCs have some form of MP3 player, but it would be cool to have the flash player as an option. I think I even saw a snippet of code that would let people download or play the message as they chose.

Brian and I worked through some similar issues a while back and I think it turned out to be related to the order that extensions were installed in. If you go to the All Configuration section of the Install Tool and find extList, that will give you a listing of all extensions installed in TYPO3 and the order in which they're loaded. You can remove wec_flashplayer from this list and tack it on to the very end so that it is loaded after wec_sermons.

Hopefully that will clear up the issues for you.
