Subject: Flash Player control panel
I posted this awhile ago but it didn't seem to go through so once again -- how can I get rid of the Flash Player control panel? My flash video loads and plays once automatically which is exactly what I want it to do. But I definitely don't want or need the control panel which gets in the way of the rest of the text.

Steve,

Unfortunately that's not possible right now and there are no plans to update the extension in the near future, because the Flash part would have to be rewritten.
We just packaged the original Flash into a TYPO3 extension and didn't actually write it.

You may be able to try and integrate one of the free Flash movie players out there into your TYPO3 installation.

Sorry for not being of much help!

Thanks for the info. I guess I can give that a try. Another question: I know how to get to the CSS file but how do I find and edit the HTML file for the home page? I've looked but can't seem to find it. I've got some experience with HTML and feel pretty comfortable trying another Flash player.

Steve,

You can't get to the HTML file for the home page because it is all dynamically generated by TYPO3. But you can insert an HTML content element into some location on your page. I suggest that you use the HTML content element to insert your own video player.
