Subject: Multiple Attachments?
Had our youth pastor ask about attaching multiple files to a post. Not sure about his purposes in doing so, but I can see it being completely valid. I'd had to create a new post just to have to create a followup or separate post with a second file. Is this possible or something that is not allowed at the moment? On the backlog?

Thanks.

Hi Peter,

Only one attached file is allowed. It is just more overhead to handle additional files. Perhaps there is a better / easier / more robust way to handle uploads. I have never used DAM and supporting that may be a better solution. I'll add it to the Feature Request for a future version.

One issue with both attached files and image files in an HTML form is that they cannot be saved if there is an error in the form. I would almost like a way to attach multiple files / images using an external program...that works with the form. I'll look into possibilities because an overall solution would benefit many other WEC extensions. If you know of another extension that supports something like this, please let me know.

Hy Dave,

Have a look at the Webmail-Form of horde (http://www.horde.org/webmail/). There as much as allowed files can be uploaded with the only negative point that the whole page loads new each time. I think the same mechanism combined with AJAX would do the job well.

Best regards
David

It sure would be nice to have the option of attaching more images. Perhaps an array? image00,image01,image02 ...

Thanks!
