Is there an extension for something beside forum that is closer to a live chat ?
Something like PHP Free Chat ?

Curious of this cause we are in the beginning stages of using WEC and this is something I think could be helpful in times of immediate need to anyone that may want to speak to someone at that very moment via chat 1 on 1 or multiples.
If so can you direct me to a download or link please.

We use the AJAX Chat (vjchat) extension. It is nice because it uses AJAX to update the page. We have used it and it worked quite well. We do not include it in the WEC Starter Package because public chat really needs to be monitored and most churches are not up to that.

vjchat is very nice but unfortunately it does work with scriptucoulus and this conflicts with mootools > rgsmoothgallery and other very nice rg... ajax stuff.

Do you have a workaround?

What conflicts do you see? We have vjchat and smoothgallery on different pages on the same site and I do not know of any problems caused by that.
