Eric,
Would it be possible for you to post a screenshot to show the exact piece of chc_forum that you're trying to disable. In general, this is all controlled through the templates at typo3conf/ext/chc_forum/pi1/templates/.

Thanks,
jeff

Jeff,

The example are like on the top of this forum, there are 4 icons, 1. "Make read", 2. "new posts", 3."Profile", 4."Search", but on my default installation, there are an extra icon, 5."users". When one click "users" icon, it list all the registered users, I would like to remove this icon from the top to protect privacy. Does this make sense ?

thanks

Eric,

You can turn off user list view using these steps:

1. Choose Page at the left
2. In the Page tree, click on the page where CHC Forum is located
3. Under Plugin Options, click on the Appearance tab
4. Check "Disable user list view"
5. Save the changes

In Him,
Mark
