Hi, I am looking to setup the WEC Discussion Forum in blog mode. It seems to do everything I want but I would prefer it to only email subscribers with the posts and not any comments, is this possible?

If it isn't currently available, could you add it please?

No, that is not possible but it's a great idea! I will look to adding it in the next version of the Discussion Forum.

Continuing on the same line of thought it might be useful for comments to be emailed to the author of the original post so they can see peoples responses.

Hi Andy,

Version 1.7.0 was a long time in coming, but it was released last week. It supports emailing only posts (and not comments). I still have the let author see comments on my list to do in a future version. Thanks again for your ideas and suggestions -- they help make the extension much better for all users.
