Hi

I have the latest version of the wec discussion forum installed but when I edit a post with an attachment and save it the attachment disappears. Is this a known bug or a problem with my configuration?

Hi Mark,

This is a known problem with all browsers. The "file" type of input is not allowed to set a value for it, so I am not able to fill it in if there is an error or edit. Firefox/IE/etc have chosen to do this because of potential security issues with web forms.

There is one way around it that I found, although it is not a perfect solution, and I am still researching it. Expect a fix in a future version though.

Thanks Dave that's great. I think Jeff had a similar issue in Calendarbase. I wonder if he has script that could save you some work.
