I was wondering about this as a possible use for this extension - a Weekly (perhaps Daily eventually) memory verse. It would be great to display this on the main page, but I was wondering if this was even possible or if there might be something better to use. Just looking for ways to keep us from burying content too deeply in the site.

Thoughts? Way off base here?

I don't know if this will do what you want to do, but just so you know, in about a month we will release an extension called wec_ebible that can provide a daily scripture content element. The verse(s) is picked automatically by the the folks at http://eBible.com but you can select the Bible version from among several.
