Subject: Hiding future content
Hello all,

First thanks for this wonderful extension you created! We just started using it in a very young church in Belgium (www.bikerkerk.be) and I already receive enthousiastic reports (well OK, one until now ;-)
I am now creating contents for my second week and realize that although the startdate is in the future, anyone scrolling to that future date is able to see the upcoming devotional...
Is there a way to hide "future" content or do I have to work with a subscription system?

Thanks for your assistance,

Patrick Scholman

Hi Patrick,

Glad you like the Devotional extension. We have not updated it in awhile but that is one feature we had planned. So that you only show the content up to a given date -- like 1 day in future, or only up to today's date.

What we have found in running several devotionals though is that having future content is fine -- most people just go to today's date. A few may go ahead, but it is pretty rare. And since some people's work schedules or vacations/holidays -- they may want to do their devotional ahead of time. Although they could always go back.

I do not know a planned release for the next WEC Devotional --- although I would expect it by the end of this year. We'll keep the feature in mind and I know it is not too hard to implement. If you have other thoughts on that feature or other features you would like, please feel frree to post them here.
