Subject: Devo display problem in IE6
I have just completed entering our Lenten Devotional into the standard WEC base system. I used the page and storage area that had already been created under the Learn & Grow tab. The only change I made was to eliminate the Weekly Tab. I also turned on the Comments section to allow posts using the Discussion extension.

If I view the WEC Devotional using Firefox the page displays normally. If I use IE6, the Devotional label appears at the top of the column and the actual devotional text is off the screen. If you scroll down you can see it. It you drag the cursor over top either the days of the week or the "Post your Message" button, the whole text area jumps to the top of the page. The "Daily" and "Discussion" tabs stay down below overlaying a portion of the text.

You can see this on our site http://www.stpetersumcoc.org

I've checked the configuration settings that are outlined in the documentation but nothing seems to relate to this type of problem.

Hi Gary,

It seems your template has problems because I see the Discussion in the right side of the page, where the Journal should be, and on the Discussion tab it is blank. Did you change or alter the template?

The HTML/CSS for the Devotional does need some improvement and I have been upgrading the extension and HTML/CSS for hopeful release in a month or so. However, given you are running a live site, I can offer to look at your setup if you can give me a login. Send an email to me with login info, if you would like me to do this.

Perhaps with the template fixed, this may fix the problem with IE. Another thing to try is to set the plugin.tx_wecdevo_pi1.contentWidth TypoScript constant to 550px or even 500px, if it is not set already. Right now, it appears to go over the right edge. However, that may be because of the Discussion extension in the right side.
