Jeff,
This is just an idle wish.
In our church we have communion on the first Sunday of February, June and October. These are easy to enter as three separate annually recurring events.
The Elders meet for a prayer service on the prior Friday to the Sundays specified above and then dress the church with linen.
Would it be possible to add another elment of recurrence, such as "the Friday before the first Sunday"? (We also publish our church magazine on the Friday before the second Sunday of most months, so the same feature could be used more than once.)
Although it is certainly more wordy than what you have at the moment, such a diplacement feature would add to the inherent flexibility of the Calendar Base. I can imagine that others will operate with similarly relative, dependent and displaced dating methods.
Just a thought.
Cheers,
Calum
