I'm thinking this is probably a newbie question but I'm having a hard time figuring out how to change the monthly calendar (from a MON-SUN layout)so that the weeks are displayed as
SUN MON TUES WED THURS FRI SAT

I can change the headings for the days of the week in the html file easy enough but can't find how to change the typoscript (I'm assuming that's what needs to be edited) to change the display for actual days that are generated by the script.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks for the quick reply. I am using the Extended Calendar Extension (the one that comes with the latest WEC Install).

I don't think that's the same extension you are pointing to.

Sadly, the extended calendar does not support changing the weeks from Sunday to Saturday. That was one of our reasons for participating in the development of Calendar Base. Calendar Base is pretty close to being ready for the Starter Package. We plan to switch to it when TYPO3 moves to version 4.2. You will also have the option of changing to Calendar Base in the future and we plan to provide instructions for that. Unfortunately, you caught us in a transition time.

You can install it now. The extension is "cal" and you can get it from the TYPO3.org Repository if it doesn't show up in your list of extensions. I'd probably read the directions before installing it as it does require a little configuration, but it's not really too hard to set up overall. The worst part for me was that I put all of my "cal" specific entries in the default system folder. It works, but I have to scroll all the way down before I can see them. If I'd put them in their own system folder (as is recommended), I wouldn't have that issue now. I'm not about to try to figure out how to copy/move them, though - no time and it does work.
