I was using date2cal for quite a while, but it's apparently not compatible with seminars. Is there any other way to get a date-selector for the back-end? That would be helpful for us to enter new events.
Thanks.

Pete,
Any idea what part isn't compatible? I know there are some IRRE related issues with the option for natural language parsing in date2cal so I normally keep that off.
Otherwise, erotea_date2cal is probably your best option but its much older than date2cal is.
Thanks,
Jeff

I wish I knew. The first part of the install/upgrade instructions were to disable/uninstall date2cal if you were running it. I actually seem to remember reading that it causes issues with formidable, which is a pre-req for seminars. I can try to re-enable it, but I know that's a feature our Church Admin uses regularly. It takes the guesswork out of the whole day/month/year thing.

These may throw some light on the subject as well:
Pete,
My memory is a little fuzzy after the conference last week but as I remember we got this fixed at the Dallas Usergroup meeting. The solution was to turn off natural language parsing within the Extension Configuration options for date2cal. Does that sound right to you or am I crazy? (...maybe not mutually exclusive)
Thanks,
Jeff

You're right - it was the natural language parsing which we never used anyway. Turning that off means we can continue to use date2cal.
