This is just a quick note of introduction for the Calendar Base forum.

The Calendar Base extension is a new calendar extension developed by the WEC Team and the TYPO3 community. It is different that the Extended Calendar extension, which is used as the default calendar in the WEC Starter Package. The Calendar Base extension is still in heavy development but in the future it will be included in the Starter Package and documented on this site as an official WEC extension.

There are already many WEC users installing and configuring the extension on their own so we've decided to go ahead and open up the support forum to keep all the discussion in one place.
