Can we have some more information please? Are you discussing the calendar on the main website? Or are you talking about the calendar used in the backend when editing?
Thank you

Ray L.
If you are referring to the Extended Calendar I can share some settings we used on our youth website. Perhaps they will be helpful. Here is the calendar:
http://theavenue.org/calendar/
Add this Typoscript to the setup section of template record for the calendar page to try it.
plugin.tx_calendar_pi1.displayEvent.event.marks.EVENT_TIME.10.strftime = %B %e, %Y
plugin.tx_calendar_pi1.displayEvent.event.marks.EVENT_TIME.20.strftime = %I:%M %p
plugin.tx_calendar_pi1.displayEvent.event.marks.EVENT_TIME.30.strftime = %B %e, %Y
plugin.tx_calendar_pi1.displayEvent.event.marks.EVENT_TIME.40.strftime = %I:%M %p
plugin.tx_calendar_pi1.displayEvent.event.marks.EVENT_REPEAT.20.10.strftime = %B %e, %Y

For what its worth, if you're using the Starter Package, the Typoscript values that Mark included above are preset.
If you go to WEC Config->Edit Site Constants, you should see "%I:%M %p" entered as the time format. I believe that %m-%d-%y is the default date format, but making changes to either of these in WEC Config will cause the frontend display of Exended Calendar to change in the same way as adding the Typoscript directly.
Thanks,
Jeff

Thanks Jeff. Good point.
Ray L. If you are using the WEC Starter Package, please use Jeff's approach.

Mark, thanks for writing. I am dealing with the calendar on the front and backend--starter package-extended calendar extension. The only way I can enter at the back end is in military time and the only way it shows up on the front side is in military time. Other wec sites display in am or pm. I do not currently have that option. I tried the wec config/constants time from %r to "%I:%M %p" it did not change the display on the front end. Is the back end always military time and how do I get the front end to change to am/pm. our web site is fitumc.com thanks ray litts
Jeff, Thanks for the tip. I did as you said. However, I still have 1800 displayed on the front end/calendar instead of 6pm. Any other ideas. Thanks ray
Raymond, thanks for writing. Yes, I am talking about the front end calendar on the main website. Any ideas would be appreciated. thanks, ray
Ray,
Can you let us know what version of the Starter Package you're using? You can find this in the TYPO3 backend by going to Help->About WEC and scrolling to the very bottom where you should see something like 4.1.1-1.0.0.
Thanks,
Jeff
