I'm not sure at all what to do. I have signed-up for all of this with the hopes of getting a new website off the ground for our church. But, I have never been more confused. I've downloaded the starter package, I've signed-up for hosting and gotten my website domain name, but can't get to first base with the instructions. I am lost. Is there a VERY basic help for novices like me to get this under way?

If you do have TYPO3 installed, we would then recommend reading the Getting Started Guide at http://webempoweredchurch.com/support/userdoc/.
Let us know what kind of issues you are having. Which instructions are you lost in? Are they with getting TYPO3 installed on your web host, setting up your web site, or actually using TYPO3? If it is with your web host, which one are you using and where are you getting stuck? Knowing more about where you are at will help us help you.

Where did you sign up? If you signed up at Vine Hosting or another WEC turn-key provider then you should not need to download anything. The best help to get started is the book, Web-Empower Your Church, for learning about creating a web ministry and then the WEC Getting Started document will help you use the WEC-TYPO3 software.

You have to login to the control panel for your domain and fill in the information specific for your church - such as the church name, address, slogan and email address for the installation to be completed.
