Subject: E-Invitations
Hi

Does anyone know of an extension that would allow for the creation of an "e-invitation"? You can see an example of what we have with our current provider at http://www.gtaog.org/e-invite

Thanks

In His service

Bill

Hi Bill
differnt ways

Tip a Friend (tipafriend)
Send an eCard (rgecard)
http://hopethailand.com/
scroll down an click on one of the images in the gallery
in the lightbox use the ecard feature
it includes a proof of the sender to prevent spamming
so first the ecard gets send to the sender and he has to approve that it is his email address ;-)

Send an News Article (rgsendnews)
http://www.rggooglemap.com/dev/rgsendnews.html
same like before but with news article

I don't understand the reply above from Andi. Can someone clarify it? I believe I am looking for the same answer as Bill above. My church wants the ability for members to make reservations online to calendar events. Does WEC offer this? If not, do you know if there is someone else's extension we can use on our WEC site?

Thank you.

Barbi,

I think that Andi was providing different options: (my text inserted below in red)

-Tip a Friend (tipafriend): install extension "tipafriend" (http://typo3.org/extensions/repository/view/tipafriend/current/)
-This is used to allow someone send a link for a specific webpage to an email address

-Send an eCard (rgecard): install extension "rgecard" (http://typo3.org/extensions/repository/view/rgecard/current/)
-this allows you to send an images and message to an email address

http://hopethailand.com/ -This is an example implementation of rgecard from Andi...However, I was nat able to get there today.

scroll down an click on one of the images in the gallery
in the lightbox use the ecard feature
it includes a proof of the sender to prevent spamming
so first the ecard gets send to the sender and he has to approve that it is his email address ;-)

-Send an News Article (rgsendnews)): install extension "rgsendnews" (http://typo3.org/extensions/repository/view/rgsendnews/current/)
-the same developer created this, instead of sending an image (as in rgecard) you send a news article

http://www.rggooglemap.com/dev/rgsendnews.html
same like before but with news article
