Subject: wec_servercheck.php - false negative ?
hello,

when running the script wec_servercheck.php (in /beta directory), i get:
File Permissions Test
* Symlinks couldn't be created even though you are not using Windows. Please check the permissions on the folder this script is installed in and make sure it is allowed to write to it. Please be sure to use the zip package to install TYPO3.
* This script is unable to create temporary folders. Please make sure file permissions are correct.

however, the directory listing does in fact show /beta/tmp/symtest.php

does this mean that all is actually ok but that the script has a bug?
