PLEH!

I am reading this:
http://webempoweredchurch.com/gettingstarted/installing/manual/page/10/
... and scratching my head.

If I have VineHosting is it not possible to build my entire site from the control panel they have... something I dont know how to do anyway - but we will get to that.

What I am having trouble understanding is what I do now that I paid for the hosting? Is there an Idiot's Guide to this?

Jason,

You do not need to bother with the installation manual you are looking at. That is done for you from the control panel in less than one minute at Vine. The control panel is for things related to hosting and installing. You will build your website by logging into http://yoursitename.org/typo3 (add "/typo3" to your domain name). You will login there to create your website. WEC 101 will show you how to setup your website, to work with pages, to work with content elements on pages, and graphics. Other classes and How-Tos will teach you more.

In Him,
Mark

YES! It is!

... now how do I set up Typo3 as this yellow warning tells me I should be doing?

Important notice!

The Install Tool is enabled. Make sure to delete the file "/home2/cokesbur/public_html/typo3conf/ENABLE_INSTALL_TOOL" when you have finished setting up TYPO3
It is highly recommended that you change this immediately.

Jason,

Don't worry about that message. It is just a warning. I will get Vine to remove it.
