Subject: firefox 3 beta
This isn't really a hosting issue, however, I am anticipating an issue with using firefox 3 beta.

It appears to have a navigation issue when you start to make changes to your site in the administration interface with FF3 beta which is (as of today) now the browser that is shipping with Ubuntu (8.04).

Does anyone know if this has been addressed in new WEC/Typo3 versions?

My current version appears to be 4.1.1, I know that is a few versions back.

What would be the correct avenue to report issues like this?

Thanks,
-Chris

Chris,
This has been fixed in TYPO3 4.2.0, which shipped earlier this week. Within the next month or so, this should be fixed for 4.1 also as part of the 4.1.8 maintenance release.

Generally, the best place to look for and report issues like this is on the TYPO3 bugtracker at [url]http://bugs.typo3.org[url]. It's a little more technical over there than the WEC forums are, so you're always welcome to report the issues here and have us pass them along. We can also try to work bugs from our end if they're not getting attention on the bugtracker.

For this particular issue, there's a bug report at http://bugs.typo3.org/view.php?id=7646 which includes a patch for TYPO3 4.1.x. Several people seem to indicate that this works, but I haven't tested it yet myself.

Thanks,
jeff
