Section 3: Personalizing a WEC Template
(Using the WEC Constants)
In addition to adding text, images, and plugins to your WEC website, you can also customize your contact information, add your church name, a slogan or Bible verse, and more. Here’s how:
In the left pane, under “Web” click “Template” [1]. Click on the starting page of your website [2] (usually the second icon down in the page tree – middle pane).In the top, right corner of your screen, click on the drop-down selector box and select “Constant Editor” [3].
In your right pane, you will see a new drop-down selector box under “EDIT CONSTANTS FOR TEMPLATE” . Select “CONSTANTS.WEC” [4].You will see a listing of different customizable areas. Click the check-box next to those you wish to change [5]. When you are done selecting, click the “Update” button [6] at the top or bottom of the list.
Now, next to each of the check-boxes you just selected, there will be a field with text in it [5]. Change the text as you need to, then click the “Update” button [6] again.
When you are through, just click on the “Page” link under “Web” in the left pane [7].
